Invested in our Community / Blooms for Norwich
Blooms for Norwich, formerly know as Norwich in Bloom, is a Norwich horticulture scheme. Having previously been run by Norwich City Council, the scheme transferred to Norfolk County Council in April 2020.
We have been pleased to support the project over many years, with our current sponsorship including the display outside the Assembly House - in between our two city centre offices on Theatre Street - where the word 'Norwich' is proudly spelled out in box hedging.
The 'Norwich' box hedged flower bed was created in 2003 using box hedging previously used to create a RHS 200th celebratory display at nearby Unthank Road Roundabout. The rectangular bed is planted with bedding displays both autumn and summer and has a spectacular tulip display in the spring that can be enjoyed at close quarters. In addition, with the help of our maintenance team, we upkeep both a flower bed and potted plant containers along the front of our 4 Theatre Street building.
As a prominent city centre business, we are proud to get involved with this initiative which helps to further enhance our beautiful city.
