Invested in our Community / Will Aid
Will Aid is partnership between participating Solicitors firms, and nine UK charities: Action Aid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, SCIAF, Sightsavers and Trocaire.
We raise funds together; Hatch Brenner draw up a simple will for clients without charging our usual fee. Instead, the client makes a voluntary donation to Will Aid at the suggested donation level of £100 for a basic single Will or £180 for basic mirror Wills. They money raised helps support the work of the Will Aid charities in the UK and around the world.
Hatch Brenner has completed four annual campaigns with the nationwide Will Aid scheme since 2015, and has raised an amazing £22,703. In the 2019 campaign alone, 51 wills were written, raising £4,000. This commitment placed us second overall in the regional league table of participating firms. For our small Private Client team, this is an achievement of which we are very proud.
Being part of the scheme allows us to offer our wills service to a wider range of clients, and it is great to be able to offer so many people the peace of mind they get from getting their affairs in order.
