Hatch Brenner Solicitors on Theatre Street has announced the next production in their drama venue sponsorship at Norwich Theatre Royal will be Agatha Christie’s Love from a Stranger. The classic thriller, based on Christie’s short story, Philomel Cottage, was first brought to the stage in 1936. The brand-new production by Lucy Bailey (Gaslight, Dial M for Murder) and designed by Mike Britton, will run in Norwich from Tuesday 17 - Saturday 21 July.
The drama follows a whirlwind romance that turns into something more sinister when Cecily Harrington is swept off her feet by a handsome and charming stranger. She recklessly abandons her old life to settle in the remote and blissful surroundings of a country cottage. Full of twists and turns, their happiness disintegrates and the chilling tale results in a surprising and blood-curdling finale.
Relocated in time to the 1950s, the show's cast includes Justin Avoth (My Brilliant Friend), Helen Bradbury (Dear Brutus), Sam Frenchum (Loot), Alice Haig (Pride and Prejudice), Molly Logan (The Grapes of Wrath), Crispin Redman (The Dispute), Nicola Sanderson (Somewhere) and Gareth Williams (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang).

They are always great fun and we and our guests very much enjoy the roller coaster ride that being an audience member for such a production entails!
