Hatch Brenner Solicitors is proud to be supporting Norfolk WILL Help 2016, a project encouraging individuals to have their wills written in return for a suggested charity donation of £50 for a single will or £100 for mirror wills. Hatch Brenner is donating appointments throughout February to the project which is raising money for five of Norfolk’s leading charities, Nelson’s Journey, Age UK Norwich, The Benjamin Foundation, Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind and Big C.
Recent research indicates that two thirds of adults have not made a will. Should an individual in these circumstances pass away their estate could go to someone they hadn’t intended.
Caroline Billings, Private Client Solicitor at Hatch Brenner commented: “We are pleased to be donating our time during February to support Norfolk WILL Help. The fact that the money raised will go to local charities is very important to us. The project offers a great opportunity for members of the public to think about putting their will together.”
Simon Wright, Chief Executive of Nelson’s Journey, the charity leading Norfolk WILL Help, said: “At Nelson’s Journey, we are reminded daily that many people reach the end of their life much earlier than expected. It is therefore essential to have your future wishes in place whatever stage of life you’re at so that your loved ones are taken care for.”
