City centre law firm Hatch Brenner has welcomed a new trainee solicitor to the Theatre Street-based firm. Alexandria Martin has started her two year trainee contract with her first seat – working for six months within Hatch Brenner’s Dispute Resolution team.
Working with Hatch Brenner Partner and Head of the Dispute Resolution team Colin Cook, Alexandria will assist across specialisms including Litigation, Personal Injury and Employment. Her role will involve working with the experienced lawyers in the team to help resolve disputes, investigate accidents and injuries and provide advice to employers and employees.
Alexandria studied law at Liverpool John Moores University, where she particularly enjoyed personal injury, employment and family law. During her studies, she completed several relevant work experience placements including through a Remand Hearing Scheme at Liverpool Crown Court. Alexandria decided to apply for Hatch Brenner’s trainee position in Norwich after gaining a sense of the firm’s varied practice areas, close-knit team and contribution to the community.
Hatch Brenner Partner and Head of the Dispute Resolution team Colin Cook commented: “We are all thrilled to welcome Alexandria to the firm and to Norwich. Her first week was spent introducing her to our key personnel and explaining our ethos and the importance that we place on high levels of client service. Once she has had the chance to settle in and get to know our systems, she will support our solicitors in their day to day case-load providing a broad experience of real-life matters as she works towards becoming a qualified solicitor.”
Outside of work, Alexandria’s interests include all sports including surfing and paddle boarding, singing and the theatre, and volunteering for community projects.
