IWD - a day that commemorates the social, political and economic achievements of women

For over a century, International Women’s Day, held on 8 March each year, has marked a day of celebration and advocacy for women’s rights and equality around the world. Norwich solicitors’ firm, Hatch Brenner, is using the day to celebrate the achievements of its 80% female workforce and build upon the progress that has been made for gender parity.

The official theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is #BreakTheBias. It’s a call to action to challenge the status quo by raising awareness against bias, celebrating women's achievement, and taking action for equality. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field.
