People / Alexandria Martin
I am a Solicitor, and was admitted to the Senior Courts of England and Wales on 1 September 2020. I trained with Hatch Brenner, having joined the firm in 2018. My training involved working across the specialist departments on a six month rotation.
I have now accepted a permanent position in the Private Client team specialising in Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney and other Private Client matters. I will also continue to lead our appointments for the Will Aid scheme.
My initial trainee seat at Hatch Brenner was with the Dispute Resolution department where I assisted across specialisms including Litigation, Personal Injury and Employment. My role involved working with the experienced lawyers in the team to help resolve disputes, investigate accidents and injuries and provide advice to employers and employees. My responsibilities included undertaking legal research of case law and statutory principles, obtaining and drafting witness statements and preparing bundles and instructions to Counsel.
Before starting at Hatch Brenner, I studied Law at Liverpool John Moore University gaining a 2:1 for Law LLB (Hons) and completing the Legal Practice Course. I completed my Professional Skills Course through BPP.
