Hatch Brenner Solicitors on Theatre Street is joining with their community partner Cruse Bereavement Care to celebrate Norfolk Day. Staff from the organisations are set to come together for a picnic in Chapelfield Gardens on Friday 27 July. Attendees will be asked to accompany a donation to the charity with Norfolk-themed savoury and sweet treats for everyone to share.
Norwich & Central Norfolk Cruse Bereavement Care are the local branch of a national charity that offers free bereavement advice and support to adults in Norwich and the surrounding area. They have a team of 60 highly trained Bereavement Support Volunteers who give their time to help others to recognise their grief, explore their own feelings and to recover their lives. Bereavement touches us all at some point in our lives and Cruse is often the only place people have to turn to when someone has died.
Caroline Billings, Hatch Brenner Partner and Private Client expert commented: “We are looking forward to celebrating Norfolk Day with colleagues and representatives from Cruse Bereavement Care Norwich. It will be great to see the array of local food and produce that everyone brings along. We are pleased to take this opportunity to spend time with our friends and contacts from Cruse Bereavement Care and work together in a positive way to raise awareness of such an important support service for many local bereaved people.”
Rebecca Bushell, Corporate and Community Fundraiser at Norwich Cruse added: “We are extremely grateful that our charity partner, Hatch Brenner Solicitors, has chosen to support us whilst marking such a special day for Norfolk. It’s a great opportunity for us to build and nurture our relationship, enjoy some great food together as well as raising vital funds so we can continue to support bereaved adults in Norfolk.”
