Hatch Brenner and connects co celebrate a successful year of working together

Hatch Brenner LLP, the Norwich-based Solicitors, has supported local charity Connects & Co. throughout 2016.

Connects & Co., also based in the city, supports children and young people, providing emotional and practical support for those living with the effects of terminal or long-term illness, disability, mental health issues and addiction within their family. The charity gives the young people and their families the opportunity to build new friendships and take part in a wide range of activities.

Hatch Brenner staff have raised nearly £300 through a series of fundraising activities including a bake sale, and a monthly sports-related quiz. The staff had previously voted to support Connects & Co. after reviewing a shortlist of local charities put forward through nominations from each department within the law firm.

Dawn Parkes, Partner at Hatch Brenner commented: “We are very happy to have been able to support the small and extremely dedicated team at Connects & Co. with their important work. We need to thank our generous clients and other visitors to our Theatre Street office who have helped contribute to our fundraising by dropping change into our charity collection pots in the reception areas. We were also pleased to donate Christmas presents to a group of children supported by the charity. We wish everyone at Connects & Co. the very best for the future.”
