Hatch Brenner is pleased to announce three exciting productions for 2018 in their ongoing sponsorship with Norwich Theatre Royal. The Theatre Street Solicitors firm has been the drama venue sponsor at the Theatre, the largest and most successful in the East of England, for the last two years. The successful partnership is set to continue, with the sensational new productions announced today as part of the ongoing programme:
The Kite Runner comes to Norwich following an outstanding run in the West End. Based on the international bestselling novel by Khaled Hosseini, the powerful drama tells a haunting tale of friendship spanning cultures and continents including Afghanistan on the verge of war. It has been adapted for the stage by Matthew Spangler and is impeccably acted by the cast.
‘The Kite Runner soars…Very moving – you would have to be made of stone not to be deeply affected’– The Independent
‘An enthralling tale beautifully told’– Daily Telegraph
Political drama This House has enjoyed sell-out runs in both the West End and at the National Theatre – not least because it deals with themes that have relevance in the current political climate. Set in the hung parliament of 1974 – 1979, it explores the infighting and backbiting of Britain’s political parties. James Graham offers an insight into the workings of British politics in an energetic, timely, amusing and moving play, directed by Jeremy Herrin (Wolf Hall).
Love from a Stranger is a brand new production of Agatha Christie’s rarely-seen thriller by Lucy Bailey (Gaslight, Dial M for Murder), and designed by Mike Britton. The story, by the UK’s greatest crime writer, tells the tale of Cecily Harrington, swept off her feet by a handsome and charming stranger who is not all that he seems. Watch out for edge of your seat suspense and a shocking twist!
Dawn Parkes, Hatch Brenner Managing Partner commented: “It is great to announce the next three productions in our ongoing drama venue sponsorship at Norwich Theatre Royal.
