About Stephen Thorpe

I am a highly experienced Civil Litigator, with 30 years in legal practice. I joined Hatch Brenner in 2023 from Lucas & Wyllys (Great Yarmouth). I specialise in personal injury claims including RTA’s, Public Liability claims (trips/slips) and accidents in the workplace. I am  a keen motorcyclist and has a particular interest in serious, catastrophic and fatal accident claims involving motorcyclists and pillions.

I am experienced in dealing with general civil claims including professional negligence, contractual/business disputes, building/construction disputes, debt recovery and enforcement. I have a special interest in contested probate claims and represents both potential beneficiaries and estates. I regularly represent clients in the county court, high court and at mediation. I am an accomplished advocate in the county court and have an impressive success record for the clients I represent.

In addition to my legal experience, I have previous experience of working in industry (manufacturing) and Local Government at a senior level, before studying law and commencing my legal career. I am friendly and approachable and would be happy to discuss your legal issues.
