If you do find yourself in a situation where you need to make a claim to the Employment Tribunal, you generally need to act quickly because there are deadlines you have to comply with.

In most cases, you will need to register for Early Conciliation with ACAS, if you have not already done so. You may also be liable to pay a fee at the start of your claim (plus a further fee prior to the final hearing), depending upon your financial circumstances.
