Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence

If your spouse or ex-partner is abusive towards you (including emotional, physical or verbal attacks), you can apply to the court to prevent any further violence.

Non-Molestation order prohibits a party from harassing, intimidating or pestering you, and, where applicable, any child that may also be at a risk of harm. The order can prohibit a party from contacting you via telephone, email, social media or direct contact if circumstances warrant such protection.

An Occupation Order can prevent a party from being able to return to the same residence.
